This page explains what The Practice Room collects, why, and how you can ask us to delete it. If anything here is unclear, reach out using the contact details at the bottom, we'd rather explain plainly than bury it in legal language.
Availability
Public access to The Practice Room is offered free during this preview period and may change. Organizations can license a fully customized version, tailored scenarios and branding, for their own team. Whatever we charge for in the future, the way we handle your data described on this page stays the same.
What we collect
- Your practice conversation. What you type or say (if you use voice input) during a session, sent to an AI service to generate the counterpart's responses and your debrief.
- Custom scenario details, if you use the "Practice YOUR conflict" builder, whatever you describe there is processed the same way.
- Your email address, only if you choose to enter it to receive your report.
- Marketing consent, only if you separately check the box to receive occasional messages from Kelton & Key. Leaving it unchecked doesn't affect your ability to get your report.
- Basic technical data (like your IP address) used briefly and automatically to prevent abuse of the tool, such as excessive automated requests. This is not linked to your identity or stored long-term.
What we don't collect
- We don't ask for, and ask that you not enter, real names or identifying details about other people in your practice conversations.
- We don't use tracking cookies to build an advertising profile of you.
- We don't sell your information to anyone, ever.
Why we collect it
- Your conversation is processed so the AI can generate a realistic counterpart and, afterward, your personalized debrief. That's the entire product.
- Your email, if given, is used to send you the report you asked for.
- If you opt into marketing, your email is added to a mailing list so we can occasionally share practical conflict-resolution content or information about Kelton & Key's services. Every message we send that way includes a working unsubscribe link.
How your conversation is processed
Your messages are sent to an AI service (Anthropic) to generate the practice conversation and debrief. We don't control that service's infrastructure directly, but we don't send it more than what's needed to run your session, and we've built the tool so your conversation content isn't stored in a database on our end beyond what's needed to generate your immediate report.
How long we keep things
- Practice conversations exist only for the duration of your session and aren't retained afterward.
- Custom scenarios you build are held temporarily (for a few hours) so you can complete that specific session, then automatically discarded.
- Your email address is kept only if you provided it, either to fulfill your report request or, separately, because you opted into our mailing list.
Your choices
- You can use The Practice Room without ever giving an email address.
- You can get your report without joining our mailing list, those are two separate choices in the app.
- If you're on our mailing list and want off, every message includes an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately.
- You can ask us to delete any information we hold about you at any time, see below.
Requesting deletion
To request that we delete your email address, remove you from our mailing list, or answer any question about what we hold, contact us using the details below. We'll confirm once it's done.
Changes to this page
If we materially change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
